Oh, the Places I Go!
Plant Delights
If you like the unusual, and the latest in plants, this is a must see. If nothing else, you have to order the catalog for Plants Delights Nursery. Please don't forget to read it cover to cover. Tony Avent has descriptive style all his own and is a funny writer. The catalog cover alone is a work of art.
New Dawn Photo
If you are in the SF Bay Area and need a beautiful keepsake of yourself, a loved one, a special event or a 'No Parking' sign that was clearly way ahead of your vehicle, you need to talk to Tony Deffina. Tony is not only a creative photographer, but I have never seen him shoot the same situation twice. The photographs of his clients are uniquely theirs for a lifetime. (At this point, you're pretty sure I am stalking people named Tony. I assure you, this is a coincidence.)
Senior Faire
Baby Boomers anyone? The world's biggest playground for seniors only. One of it's best features includes hand-holding while wading through the MediCare paperwork and government explanations in plain-speak. The rest of the site is a plethora of good times and great information. From creating your life story to safety tips to music from back-in-the-day. This site is up and coming so watch for fast expansion.
J. Scott Design
This awesome website you're on right now speaks for its self. Can you say, 'talent'? These guys ooze creativity with websites and know how to get it right. Click on over to their site and order up one for yourself.
California Carnivores
Now here's a place you won't forget. Do you lean towards the unusual, the startling, the downright creepy? This is the place for you. Peter D'Amato can show you, in his own words, "a strange, strange world tuned upside down; a world of plants that lure, catch, kill, and digest insects and other animals for food". To really get the most out of this education, though, you really must visit his little shop of horrors in Sebastapol, California. Hey, we made a day out of it and stopped by Bodega Bay. Did you know Alfred Hitchcock's, "The Birds" was filmed there?
